Always have loved this game. Its a fantastic game even after all these years. I still come back to it. Great job by Noxins.

This game was...lame at best. Complete shit at worst. It was filled with enemies that camped your dead body and I got through the entire game except the last boss with one life and then was endlessly camped by the boss who then spawn killed me. Thats pretty bad bro. You need to fix it. Sorry. Until that happens I'm not giving it anything.

This game is good. Amazing even, except for one extremely fatal flaw.

The fucking LAG!

I mean I have a damn good comp. I can play most games on the highest graphics settings without too much trouble. But even on the lowest graphics setting in this game if a zombie jumps on my hood sometimes the game will freeze up or slow down. But not the whole game, just my targeting and driving. Its like both Cocheta and Diane fall asleep similtaneously and randomly. I'll be bouncing along killing zombies and BAM! I can't steer or shoot. Or if I can steer or shoot its like its moving slowly through water, the cursor inches across the screen. And if this happens when a zombie is on my hood I'm pretty well fucked. Its annoying to not be able to get past sections of the game only because I'm unable to defend myself.

Its frustrating too because this game could be SO good if I could just play it like a normal game. But I can't. I could kinda sluff it a bit at first but now I'm roughly 1/2 of the way through the game and the amount of zombies/mutants and other difficulties that crop up now make it so that any time the game freezes is a time where a zombie is on my car so I'm pretty much dead at that point. And there isn't much I can do about it.

Come on guys. You dudes at Evil-Dog need to find a fix for this problem so that people won't find it so difficult to play your game you worked so hard on! You are so close to perfection it'd be a shame for you to never fix this.

Evil-Dog responds:

it's flash man, happens with all "heavy as fuck" games, it's a shame indeed.
We're thinking about doing a Road 1 and 2 bundle in Unity3D, port the game with HD graphics and sounds/music and 3d road and buildings, then the game would run smoooooooth.

Sorry guys. I know you really tried but it is next to impossible to control. You should have designed it with both characters controlled by one control scheme. Have them stand together and each move would be performed by either vito or wilhelm based on whether it was a ranged or melee attack. (IE: To do a double jump to duo would jump and then vito would grab wilhelm and blast them both upwards with his staff) Then it could have been a fantastic arena styled game. As it is, its rather poor and uninspired unlike your excellent show. Try again.

I hate april fools jokes. Seriously guys way to waste my time.

It almost seemed like it'd be a cool game when I first started but oh well.

I give you a 3. You have a good idea and it could really be excellent except for a few things you need to fix. Your baseball bat option is next to useless. Actually more than useless, its a detriment to the game. Almost never in any time did I use it did I survive. Once I realized that jumping over zombies is a much better and effective option I began to do that instead and therefore made the baseball bat a last resort if not completely unneeded. The hitbox area on the baseball bat is tiny and its refire rate is absolute garbage. The zombies are randomly (if not sadistically) placed to maximize difficulty and I applaud you on this. It really ramps up the difficulty if you have to land on a place and immediately have to hit a zombie with your baseball bat a half second upon landing to survive. This would be a brilliant mechanic if only the baseball bat actually worked like it should.

Here is what I propose.
Either A: Increase the size of the baseball bat's area of effect allowing one to now have more than half a second to respond whilst still keeping the refire rate the same, forcing the player to strategically time their attacks but still making it easy enough to not be frustrating.
or B: Increase the refire rate of the baseball bat significantly, so that in the event you do an attacked that was not timed properly (which was 90% of mine even though I KNOW I have good reflexes) you have the ability to swing again and correct your mistake, thus saving yourself from becoming zombie food.

You've got a good game here. The graphics are excellent, the backgrounds are well wrought and have lots of relevant imagery that bring the game to life (The "Help" sign on the windows comes to mind), the sprites have fluid movement and the pace of the game really drives you forward and makes you WANT to continue. The music is obviously excellent and fits the situation perfectly.

You seem like you took a game like canabalt of gem runner and turned it into your own version with your own theme. I respect that. It makes a cool game. But you have to fix your current mistakes if you want this game to really shine.

I'll add you to my favorites and see if you come up with any other good content. Looking forward to what you do next.

My only complaint is that is has an ANNOYING Tendency to delete your data when you close the browser (not my cookie settings or anything!) and so now I have to start all the way over.

Which I'm not doing. So....yeah.

Man this guy is all over the road

He is a really bad driver.

But this game is excellent. I kind of wish there was more choice over what you can pick up, but the wacky weapons are awesome.

Needs an Easy/Hard function

Fun game but I'd like an Easy/Hard function with maybe you getting hit 2-3 times and dying and the other where you just get hit once and you die because that way you can get your full game's worth. I kinda just wanted to explore it a bit and see all the variety of enemies and stuff. Made it to wave 34 without buying a single upgrade so its not like I can't beat it I just figured it would be better.

Other than that great game. Very simple, very addictive.

Awesome game

Still feels a little short, but maybe thats because my choices were really good =)

Nonetheless a great adventure game with a good story. Looking forward to a third!

I'm a pretty simple guy.
