Too easy?

What is everyone playing sandbox mode? I'm playing on normal and I can't beat it no matter how hard I try, I get to about round 15 and lose because my towers just can't do enough damage.

Super levels

are really what mar it. Everything else about this is amazing (except the lack of music) but those super warping levels are really what puts a dampener on the fun being as that nearly none of the towers can really hit them.

I love this game so much.

I replayed it again and again and again. My one and ONLY complaint is that there is too many ways to win lol. Made it too easy. But just the same the game is incredible and your level of detail truely is genius. I look forward to a sequel.

I must know!

This is an INTENSE game that blows your mind with its speed. I had to react FAST. First two times I sucked, third time I got 300,000 and i just went up from there.

But I have to know, whats the name of the song that plays during the game? Its fast paced as hell and really catchy.

the in-game tune is "Distorted Goblin" from the the "Contagion" album - you can download it for free by following links from either the game's credits dialog, or the music link on this page.

The version in the game has been cut down and slightly re-pitched to better fit my sfx, so if you really want the exact same version as in the game let me know and I'll upload it - but I'd expect you to prefer to have the longer original version.

Hey I got a great idea

Make the last level actually doable. I tried like a hundred times in different ways, and none of them work.

Still. Good game. It is fun and the concept is just hilarious, brilliantly executed too with the exception of the last level.

Good game

But your physics leave a lot to be desired. Many times I would land in such a way that in real life I could have easily stayed seated, but in the game I fell off the bike. Also for some reason your character has a tendency to flip backwards to frontwards every time you hit the slightest jump. This makes it nearly impossible to go more than 150m ever, because at SOME point you are going to hit a jump, even a slight one, and it instantly kills you by some gravity defying freak of nature flip. I'm not completely certain, but every time I hit a jump last time I rode my bike I didn't flip completely upside down and smash my spine into the ground. I just hopped a bit and then landed.

Still, a good game, but one that feels unfinished due to these major problems. Perhaps you should fix the gravity issues and the physics and then resubmit it?

Not allowing someone to replay is bad.

Is kind of a game ruining thing to do. I know that is like real life, but at the very least it should have showed you what "could" have been or something. But no. I didn't spend time with my family at the end, and I didn't come up with the cure. So my guy died cold and alone. Wonderful, can I fix it? No. Because you don't have a replay feature to allow me to wonder what might have been. So I award you a four. Your game is incredible it really is, and the atmosphere it creates is so tense it is almost palpable, but the inability to replay or even see what might have been ruins this game. I almost smashed my keyboard in frustration at my crappy ending.

Awesome game all around.

I love the feel, I love the way it plays. This game is a wonderful tribute to all the old arcade games in the 90s that everybody gathered around and played. In the old days of NES and SNES and Sega Genesis where multiplayer was where brothers and cousins and friends all played side by side to beat an extremely challenging game.

My friend you have made a masterpiece. I've played it through like 3 times ALREADY and I JUST found it.

PS: Anyone know how to use the other characters once you unlock them?

This could be better.

I definately see potential in you and your flashes. This one just needs a few more touches to put meat on its bones. Right now its a little anorexic!

Firstly, try to add more than one song. That one gets a little boring pretty fast. Or perhaps a longer one that would not distract the user from the game by being to irritating or repetitive.

Second, I suggest you put more obstacles/rewards in the game. Maybe there is walls of light that you have to go up and down to avoid? Perhaps a switch that if you hit it will turn all lights off for a time? Something that gives players pause, makes them have to strategize a little. A complex game isn't always a good one, but a game thats too simple can be bland. This one could use the spice ;)

Lastly, maybe a difficulty changer? Easy/Normal/Hard and the like. Making the game a little more difficult if you so choose would make it more challenging and more worth it to beat.

I don't know why, but I like you. Keep making flashes and I hope to see the updated version of this game, and perhaps other games/flashes too!

Your friendly review is highly appreciated!

Yeah, next to my ActionScript 3, my composing skills also need a little work... I seem to lose any inspiration after 10 seconds of music has been written.

I was afraid that I'd make things a little too complicated for a first, but I'll probably make a sequel with more obstacles. Thanks for your suggestions.

A difficulty changer... that should be within my skill of programming.

Well, thanks a ton for your useful critique and review. I'll probably make a sequel to this one some day... sadly, spare time might become rarer and rarer over time.

...and thats it?

I get to the end...and he dies? And thats the end? No questions answered as to what the hell those cat things were? No answers for why he needed to kill Alice, or why he was even targetted for death in the first place?

I don't know why everyone freaked out about this. It was not even worth the time I spent on it, because there were so many holes in the story left unfulfilled this just left me empty. You should have spent more time on this, or gave a better explanation for everything that happened. Or something. This could have been SO much better.

I'm a pretty simple guy.
